Hi,

I am currently on Sprint PCS but want to switch to either Cingular OR T-mobile as i have a need to use text messaging heavily internationally. But I am interested in getting a good phone preferably with Bluetooth & Speakerphone...Nokia's are the best but rare here in the US. I have seen the coverage & see that Cingular is better plan wise & everything...but I need a phone that has GSM 900 offered by either of the co.'s that is hopefully triband...getting it unlocked will not be a problem to do so later on.
I have seen the Sony Ericsson T 637 w/ Cingular but it only has GSM 850/1800/1900 that doesn't help me..then there are the Motorola's Quad Band phones, but I've not been a big fan of motorola so wud take that on last choice only...

As for T-mobile I have seen the Samsung E 715 and that is GSM 900/1900 as I've researched so am not sure whether that's my best choice as of now or not...A second choice in the same wud be the Sony Ericsson T 610 which is now already an older phone so...I dont know what to do....

Please help!!!

Any comments would be greatly appreciated...thanks!

Based on my personal experience with T-Mobile, I would advise you to avoid them at all costs. If you have any kind of problem, their customer support and tech support are the worst. It took me two months, a lawyer and the FCC to get out of my contract when THEY were not providing the service I was paying for. More than just normal frustration, they blatantly lied to me and mislead me.

Available from AT&T. Bluetooth, tri-band with 900/1800/1900. And a nifty foldout keyboard that makes it great for text messaging.

I haven't used one (I have a T637) but it seems to get good reviews.

Stay away from Cingular/ATT at all costs. They treat their customers like dirt, the cs dont know what they are doing, we stayed on the phone for OVER AN HOUR to find out that the password for the voice mail account was 1111. Cingular is utter garbage. I just switched to Verizon, best move I have ever made. Good service, friendly cs, great phone, all around good. Go with them if you can. T-Mobile i hear is also pretty good, but you must pay for free mobile to mobile (if you can call that free). lol, and not the best network around.

Tmobile has the cheapest international text messaging rates out of every service provider. (15 cents out going and 5 cents incoming)

It just depends what you want. Where I live it is best to have Cingular or ATT they have better reception in rural places, if you are in a metropolitan place it is better to have Sprint or Verizon or T-Mobile. I have had ATT for 4 years and it has been above average for me and they were very nice on the phone, but as always no matter where you go you are going to have someone on costumer service that either doesnt now what they are doing or just had a bad day, but I wouldnt judge a company by that.

dont blame ATT/ Cingular for your stupidity

voicemail and its setup is published at the website

here is the link

http://www.attwireless.com/help/Help.jhtml

click on voicemail (that will show you the temporary password and the setup instructions)

and if you arent near a computer... call before 11 am eastern you will get in right away... we ( yes I am a care rep) are waiting for calls until about that time
