r u sure...just 100msgs...dude...one of my friends has 1200msgs on his 6600...i dont think that there will be a limit to 100 msgs for memory.....try creating folders in the phone and moving ur messegges there....

The error message is probably related to the fact that ur SIM message memory is full. Delete some messages from ur SIM and see what happens. However, I agree with icefusion. I have around 250 messages in my 6600.

He is talking about the 6230 and not the 6600.
And the memory on the 6230 is limited for 150 messages. Nothing more. And the memory is not moveable.

So does this mean that one can't transfer messages to the MMC in a 6230? Man, this sucks...

1200 MESSAGES!!! whats the point in keeping that many? I struggle having to sort out the 150 storage every couple of days or so! It's more than enough! imagine going through 1200 messages , what next? will need a gmail system of searching ur txt messages "search, dont sort"
