Hi!
I have had my Nokia 7210 for a while now (a long time for me anyway) and was wondering if there were any software upgrades for it and if there; were would i get it?

I presume you are referring to firmware upgrade. The current firmware version available for N7210 is version 4.74. Use *#0000# to check your phone firmware version
You can go to nokia care centre to upgrade the firmware

In most cases, if your phone is under warranty (which most still are) then it is free.
No I havn't done it...yet

I was also thinking of upgrading my firmware.
At the moment i have v3.09 (whihc seems a lot behind) can anyone tell me the advantages (or possible disadvantages) of getting v4.74

bad things about getting a upgrade is it will try and place the basic pics that come with the phone back on if u have deleted any of the orignal pics in the phone then i suggest u make room for the ones the firmware will try and put on. it will reset the games triple pop and bounce on the 7210 and upgrade them games with the newest version of the games out which would mean u would lose your game but have smoother game play and be able to get pased level 9.
other then that the firmware upgrades the way ringtones can be used such as u can attach ringtones that are in your gallery to our contacts and the new firmware irons out some nastys in the orignal firmware and fixs problems that some people have had when trying to get the phone on and now haveing the phone respond at all.
they are preety much all the changes.
