Okies, i got a 6 month old E700, and recently the screen has become v bright and washed out looking, even if i turn the brightness levels to minimum. Also the camera won't function with the phone open, it just gives me a white screen, however the camera still functions fine with the phone closed, anyone any ideas to the problem? I've taken it to my local phone shop but they dont have a clue, and im pretty sure its not under warrinty. Thanx

I have not seen this problem before, but Im almost sure that its covered by the warrinty.

I had this problem the other week. The internal screen was all white but the outer screen was ok. I took it back 2 where I had bought it, they sent it away and then it came back 5 days after working normally. I don't know what caused the problem or how it was fixed but its perfect now.

I had that problem too your phone is dieing slowly bring it back as soon as you can.

I am also having the exact same problem...last week the white screen on the camera happened and then yesterday on the camera it started saying 'preview error' and this morning every screen is a white washed out colour and starts to fade until it is completely white. Does anyone know where the best place is to take it to be fixed and how much it costs? Please help.

see the prob i got is that the phone was bought off ebay a few months ago, it should theoretically be under warrinty, but will it matter that im not the original owner?

thats 1 of my problems too, i got mine off ebay  kinda wishin i didnt now tho!

im probably gonna ring samsung and quote my serial number off the phone and see if its stil under the warrinty, if not then i spose ill just have to send it to them anyway and pay for the repair if its not too pricy!

yep im going to do this too...i emailed them last night and they said it will be under warranty if it was purchased less than a year ago so you just have to phone up with your serial number and also if possible the date it was first purchased and where.

my phone camera has too gone white on the inside. i brought my june 04 and now it will cost to get it repaired, does anyone know how much it would cost to repair?
