Can I update the 'Vodafone' software to 'Sony Ericsson' software using this docking station?
If not - does anyone know of a shop in London that could do this update?
I really want rid of the Vodafone software - its rubbish!

I have been at my wits end with vodafone over this K700 and MP3 issue. I rejected my phone within the 14 day period, yet they never returned my calls, so by the time I finally got an answer that nothing could be done two weeks had passed. I tried to return my phone but they refused to take it back in the store.
Not wanting to jump straight into to legal action just yet, I called up Vodafone Business Services this morning to complain, and they say the Vodafone and MP3 issue has been fixed. So why not tell me this yesterday, durr brains? They are going to send me a new phone next week to swap with my old one. I suggest everybody in the world who has a vodafone K700i phone on vodafone call up voda customer services and do this, now!!

Some additions:
o2 and Vodafone K700i can't be updated at the moment.
You will need DSS-20 or DSS-25, everything else won't work.
It's safe to make the update. Even if you screw the update, there is a recovery option on the website.
-edit-
Vodafone Germany phones can be updates since a few days now... how about other countries I don't know.

I have a k700i also with Vodafone and can't play MP3's as ringtones. Nor can I get the DCU-11 cable working (Error when connecting I get when I try to view the contents of the phone)
Any idea's how to fix either problem? I saw somebody above mention vodafone have fixed it, well I still can't play MP3's?
