I have a 6100 (quite a few actually), a DKU5 Cable, and an infrared adapter. I am using Window XP with the newest version of Nokia Suite. Whenever i connect the 6100 with infrared, Window XP tells me 6100 is found. However, when i use Nokia Suite, it can't find the phone, even if it does, its greyed out. After a few minutes, Windows will tell me theres something obstructing the infrared, or its out of range (which there isn't to my knowledge). The DKU5 cable is even worst, Windows can't even detect the 6100 with it. I tried it with all my 6100's, all of them have the same problem. My 7610 works fine with both the DKU5 and infrared. Can anyone help?
I have max frequency of the infrared set to 56XXX (Forgot exact).

Could it be you use the cable which comes with the 7610?
Because this is a DKU-2 and doesn't work with 6100.
For infrared: slow it down, this should normally help (hardware manager)

You wrote, your 7610 does work with the DKU-5... which is not possible... the 7610 only works with a DKU-2 cable (which comes with the phone)

The DKU-2 can't work with the 6100.
For the infrared-thing I've got no idea. Maybe newer drivers will help.
