Hi
I am a bit new to this, but i bought a E700 from a friend and i think it is unlocked, my Vodaphone Sim Card registers on the phone and i can send and receive text messages, but i cant make or recieve a call.
Does this mean the phone is locked or is it a fault with the phone?
I have used the codes in the forum's but to no avail, please help.
Cheers

Also if it helps, i go to make a call and then then it just says 'call ended' and goes back to menu screen and if i try to call it i get a dead tone. But i have tried it in another phone and it works fine!
This is why i think it is locked, but i have used all the relevant codes to unlock it and make sure there are no errors or anything so i am a bit confused as to why i cant make calls on it!
Could it be to do with where the phone is originally from i.e region or something?
Help!!!

After doing a bit of research i think the phone has been barred by the operator as it might of been lost!
Is there a way of fixing this or changing the IMEI no. so it will make calls?
Thanks
