Using the USB data cable with Prolific Driver, XP sees the device but when I launch Easy GPRS it shows OFFLINE on the bottom of the window with no instruction as how to make the damn phone ONLINE. What gives? Anyone know how to rectify this? How does this software see a USB connection?
Thanks In Advance!

I recently received 2 new SGH-X426 on my plan and after searching all over the place I finally found everything I needed to transfer files to it. I noticed several topics here from posters that were having similar troubles so I figured I'd post the links to the software that actually works so that others might be able to download images and tones to thier phones as well. You will need a data cable for your phone, I found a cheap one by searching google. The software however was a real pain to find, here is the link for EasyGPRS 2.18. This was the only version I could find that would actually let me do anything more than just access my phone book.
Now as for ring tones, this thing uses .mmf ring tones but if you can find them . .mid format it will also load them as well IF YOU TELL it to. When you click on the tone load button then choose select it automatically looks for *.mmf files if you enter *.* and press enter you get all files, then you can choose .mid files as well. Hope this helps everyone else out there that was having similar problems.
Just curious, does anyone know if the new 3.1 is compatible?
