If for some reason your operation wasn’t successful or you decide to go back to the V205 firmware follow the guide below.
If you backed up your V205 firmware you can use that or find some around other places.
Please follow the flashing to V200 guide but instead use the following steps for the corresponding numbers,
9) Click the tab “Flash&Verify”
10) Browse to find the file “V25UVVL2.s3” or whatever you named your firmware if you backed up the V205 firmware yourself.
Press the OK button to return to the main Optiflash screen.
Continue with the rest of the steps listed in the V200 flashing section of this guide.

HI I just flashed my phone. I have a Samsung V205 and I flashed it to V200. I unlocked it so I could use ATT GSM. Well, everything went fine but instead of it saying "ATT WIRELESS" it just says "Limited Service" and I can only make emergency calls like 911...Also If any of you have any software so I can change my IMEI # back to what it was that would be great. I am thinking because that my IMEI # is wrong that it says Limited Service. Thanks

I had the same problem but like rwill80 said before set ur max speed for
ur com port to 115200 and flash it again it should work fine after that. |
More datails - I have the same problem but I can't flash the phone back to my saved firmware. When I click on the flash button, there the software says "power on mobile" - so I'm trying to posh power button but nothing is happeing...

i'm a newbie to this flashing stuff, so here goes....i bought the data cable from radio shack which the salesman said would work for the v205 also.....it fits and it's for the sprint samsung a310 phone. the plug works and everything, but when i go through the intial steps to pre-flash test, it will say "power on mobile" like it's not reading the phone i turn on the phone and wait and wait and the message is still there,by the way it is a USB cable...could that be the problem? I've tried the com1 and com2, and they both say that, anyother com gives an error message...do i have to but the actuall serial data cable?thanks for any help |
did you resolve this? I have the same problem, but I am using the OEM samsung cable!

When I flashed mine to V200 and when it says Power On Mobile. I just pressed the power button for about 1-2 secs. It won't turn on but that's how it's supposed to be. Then Optiflash starts flashing the phone.

i'm really motivated to flash my V205 to V200, but I don't know what kind of networking problems I may have using this firmware here in Brazil.
