Hi Don and everyone else...

I've been trying to do this upgrade flashing thing following the instructions of the link below, and I'm coming to a specific problem that I can't find the answer to... I used Optiflash 3.5 and 3.6 and tried to backup the v205 configuration of my phone. It reads all the data (11-15MB) and then tries to save the .sre file, and the computer (winxp) crashes with a blue screen. After restarting there is a file created, but it can't be verified.

Any ideas on what to do, in order to have my phone backed up?

Thank you for your help in advance.

Elias

Clear all the information from the Read Range field and add the following:

0x00000000 - 0x00001fff
0x00004000 - 0x00ffffff

do I remove all the one that is there and only add those? or do i leave the one that is there and just add with it? thank you

In Network Service, supposely you choose T-mobile and select OK, but on my phone it only comes out Cingular and AT&T Wireless..

I didn't choose Cingular nor AT&T Wireless, I just put 'em as 'Automatic' but it comes out as Cingular..

What should I do? ;(

Help me..

I read the flash from my V205 using Optiflash V3.5.02,
but when I try to verify I get the error Attempt to write reserved region 0x0 - 0x1fff (0x0-0x1ff)
Error code: ERR_BAD_SREC_ADDR
Sorry, an error has occured ! (ERR_BAD_SREC_ADDR)

I would like to flash this phone to a V200.
What could be causing this?
