It says on the Mobile Action website (the people who created that Cable) that MA-8210 cable works for the Samsung s105/100 and that the MA-8220 is for the Samsung v205/200 .
I was wondering if the cable you have really works for the V205/200 phone ?

so apparently an IRDA connection is not appropriate for the flashing? a cable is required?
