This may sound like a dumb question but..[for any reason] How do you restore the phone back to V205 ?

Ok here is the guide for flashing back i got from another forum.
If for some reason your operation wasn’t successful or you decide to go back to the V205 firmware follow the guide below.
If you backed up your V205 firmware you can use that or find some around other places.
Please follow the flashing to V200 guide but instead use the following steps for the corresponding numbers,
9) Click the tab “Flash&Verify”
10) Browse to find the file “V25UVVL2.s3” or whatever you named your firmware if you backed up the V205 firmware yourself.
Press the OK button to return to the main Optiflash screen.
Continue with the rest of the steps listed in the V200 flashing section of this guide.

Edit Profile 1 with the following Info:
Profile Name: Whatever you want to name it.
Connection URL: http://216.155.174.84/servlets/mms
Security: Non-secured
IP Address: 216.155.165.050
Username: (leave it blank)
Password: (leave it blank)
APN: wap.voicestream.com
Works like a charm! |
On the "Connection URL" couldn't get ( / ) slashes.

the slash is either 1, 0 , * i cant remember off hand.
as for unlimited internet i believe u have to edit profiles to CSD instead of GPRS. thats a whole other topic though. and only gives u unlimited internet at night/weekends if u have free nights/weekends. CSD comes out your airtime.
