Is it true that you cant make calls while charging a v600?
Im seriously unhappy with my Sony-E. phone and dont care for Nokia so I want to go back to good ole Motorola but Im not sure about the v600. I here that it moves slow and scratches easily. Not only that but I dont like its look. I want a phone that sticks out, not one designed to be invisible in my car while Im driving. If anyone knows where I can pick up a v600 for less than 200 without any kind of service, let me know. I really need a phone with bluetooth that works every once in a while.

The only time I have not been able to do this was during the initial setup. The battery is barely charged, so you have to wait until it has enough charge to disconnect, dial the number, then plug the unit back in. After that initial charge however, I have always been able to have it charge and talk at the same time.

I currently have the V60, and I can talk on the phone, and if the battery gets too low, I can simply plug in the charger and not interrupt my call.
I would never have thought this would be an issue with the V600, but from how I interpreted someone's post, it seems this is not functionally possible?
with the V60 I can go so far as: (in the middle of a call) take the back cover off, plug the charger in, switch the battery, unplug the charger, and put the back on....and still be on the conference call.
Can I expect to be able to do this with the V600 as well?
Thank-you!!

1. Yeah, it's possible to make calls while charging. It might not be possible to make calls while charging a *completely* dead phone. My old Kyocera was like that. I've never run my V600 out.
2. Not visible enough for you? The faceplate/batery cover is interchangeable. You could get bright blue, bright red... bright pink? Would that get lost in your car?
3. Some websites have offered a FREE V600 (after mail in rebate) if you switch to AT&T. Of course, now that I look for them, I can't find them. But perhaps it would pay off to do your own search.
