yupz, i had already enabled the gprs frm the service provider. but i just can't get into the wap. for my last phone, which was nokia 3100. it appears the same when i get into one of the wap. it always showed that my connection was time out. no matter how, i can't get into the wap. besides that, I couldn't even download directly by a jpg file or mid file. but my friend's could.

Have you contacted your service provider regarding this problem?

U say that the service does not work with your 3100 too, rite?
Mebbe its a sim card fault, or it also could be that the service hasnt been activated properly by your provider.

nope, it do works for 3100. but not on n-gage qd. i tried on my friend's phone (7210i) with my sim card too. it works too. i heard that mayb i nd to do anything to the advance settings?

I called the service provider. It gave me everything i got from the web and it said there shouldn't be any problem with it.

Did u enter the settings manually??

If so, does the gprs settings require a valid proxy port? And have u entered a valid proxy with the gateway or left it blank??

IF the QD is wap 2.0 or greater compliant, u will need a proxy port in order to be able to connect.

Just a hunch here, but have u entered the same settings as in your 3100??

What sub-topics do you see under Advanced Settings??
