hi.. how am i possible use the local network provider instead of roaming? because recently im in other country (as i live in uk using vodafone network) and try to use the local network provider (in malaysia using Maxis network) sim card, but it cant detect. some ppl said its because my phone is locked. so how can i possibly use my phone abroad without roaming.

either the voltage of the Sim-card of the Maxis Network isn't supported by the Nokia 6230 or its a locked phone. post your IMEI number and i'll give you the unlocking passworkd (Check IMEI= *#0000*

Please stop talking about unlocking!
Nearly all providers who lock phones have a part in their contract where they forbid the unlocking. If you do anyway, you break the contract and they can quit it.
And never ever think about posting your IMEI! People could use it to change their IMEI to yours. And IMEI changing is illegal.

Who said anything about changing the IMEI?!
I meant creating an unlocking code which is unique as everyone's IMEI is different.

Have you at least read what I've wrote befor start complaining?
I wrote never post your IMEI. It's an invitation for criminals to take the IMEI and use it for their phones to make them "clean".
