I've been trying to find a forum or topic where someone actually tells you step by step how to flash the E715, I'm in the USA with T-mobile, with new firmware, but I cannot find it anywhere. I want new firmware, so i can then flash the phone and take out that annoying camera sound. I see alot of how to take out the sound...but nothing to do before that part. Can someone either tell me what to do or please help me out.

you need the cable (pcb093lbe) ,optiflash 3.7 and the firmware to flash.

under the SGH E71X sub heading, there are alot of different firmwares listed, which one should I put in my phone? and when i download them to my computer, they're not .s3 or .sre files, what do i do with that. Also, do I have to update my firmware inorder to get the needed download to take off the camera sound?

Download E715UVDC5 and decompress it with Winrar or Winzip and flash the .sre or .s3 than search for the no cam sound search for "DC5 no cam" on google.
