Use Cerebros Unlocker http://www.personal.psu.edu/users/s/j/sjs342/Cell_files and it will unlock your phone

Sounds like you need to switch the switch on your data cable. The cables can only handle one function at a time and the EasyGPRS function is different than the flashing/unlocking one.

Have you tried resetting the phone right before you connect it and making sure to run the program immediately. It could be a problem with the phone's automatic sleep function. If that doesn't work make sure you are set up to connect with the right port. If all else fails, I will see if I can dig something up for you.

He mean's the shop for your wireless carrier. Depending on who you have, they will unlock it for you, but don't think it's free. I overheard two fine gentlemen at the at&t shop near me talk about how they just click a button and earn the company $75
