Both my daughter and I have service through T-mobile. I have the basic plan with unlimited text and no T-zone. I would like to send a pic from her graduation to her from my computer. I have a nokia 6800 and I don't know what she has but it does show and receive pics. I called customer service and they told me I have to have AOL. Um, I think not. is there any other way to send it to her without the expense of the data cable and software? I can support a small charge but 50.00 is a bit for this small pic

Well, after not receiving a response and after searching all day, I finally figured it out. You have to send a pic to an email addy and then you can send to the phone. The address of the phone is the 10digitphonenumber@tmomail.net
Thanks for the help but I guess I was too impatient.

You do not have to have AOL for picture messaging. First see if your daughter can receive picture messages. It is going to cost her .25 to receive a picture. All T-Mobile phones have an e-mail address:
phonenumber@tmomail.net. That should do it.

I have tried to do send a picture to my email adress forever. The TMobile customer respresentatives tells me this is possible but no one I know is able to do this (Cingular does it without any problems). Supposedly you need to send it to your email which is the Mob#, doesn't work. I have attempted also sending it in a smaller format than required and of course, still no luck. I also have had people try to send me email messages with text the same way and never recieved it. TMobile said there is nothing wrong from their side, the exact answer I expected from customer service...
