hey, ok i have the ORIGINAL data cable FROM SAMSUNG. it is the serial connection. ok, i had everything working more or less fine, easystudio would recognise my phone (e700) and would read everything. then i opened up my sms folder and copied everything to my pc, closed the program and went off. now when i try and open up the program again, it will never recognise my phone, i've tried reinstalling, updating software version, rollingback version, and nothing will work, wtf? how come?? what is this crap, the idiots who programmed this piece of crap should be shot, no crap.
can anyone help me to get this working again??
thanks

Do you connect the cable to the phone before or after you started the program?

nah no difference, if i leave the cable out the program just takes ages to load, as soon as a stick the cable in, it loads instantly, the only thing is that nothing loads, it loads the data off the computer (which there is none) and skips the phone entirly.
see it was working fine until i copied my sms's from my sin and phone to my computer, after i did that it never loaded again.
any ideas?

i get the same problem but with easygprs. easystudio works fine but easygprs just skips the phone load. it says it's offline when it should say E700. i don't know who the fuck designed this system its absolutely retarded. i completely wasted my money buying a data cable.
