Hello!
I just bought a Nokia 3100, which came with the DKU-5 cable, and have been trying to send 128x128 jpeg files to the new phone via Image Converter for new wallpaper but keep getting an error message "Failed to update image to phone." I have searched all over this site and others for solutions but can't come up with anything. Am I doing this wrong? My PC recognizes the phone when I check PC Suite. Can anyone help me out? Thanks!

Does it happen for all images or for only a select few?
It used to happen to me too, but very rarely and only for a few images. Didnt find a way to get around it tho.

Do I need to be in a certain screen on my phone to properly transfer? I have it at the main screen and have tried jpeg, bmp, gif, etc. Nothing works

Did u get the PC Suite v5 cd with the phone?? U could try installing the latest version of the pc suite: V6.2.

Ok, downloaded 6.2, still having same problem as none of the file types will transfer to my phone using Image Converter. Is there anything else I can try?

Ok, I can tranfer using the new version of Suite by "file transfer", just not with "image converter", thanks for all your help. The transfers are working great! Thanks for helping me along!!
