Haha...santa sorta passed...got my wireless keyboard and mouse set up...and im building my uncles site for around $1500 so i may just get the V551 and may get it soon...so for 1 turn theres always another opportunity to get back on the path you were dirived from. idk how to put that in lamens terms.
Try going to google and searching for software that allows you to send MMS from your PC. Try typing in something like "send free MMS PC" for example. If you find something download it.
Next, if you have Windows XP, you should have Windows Movie Maker installed on your computer. If you don't, download it from the Microsoft website. Once you have done this, import your selected music (1 by 1) into Windows movie Maker and trim the music down to +- 30 seconds (usually the songs chorus). Once this is done, save the "project" or in other words the Truetone you have created and open up your MMS program. Open your Truetone and send it via MMS to your cellphone. Note that most newer Motorolas allow up to 100KB to be sent in an MMS message. If your message exceeds this, you may have to trim down your Truetone even more.
Once you have send you MMS, retrieve it onto your phone and you should be able to store the Truetone onto you phone from there!
Hope it works!

Hey, I'm new to the forums and the motorola v220. I have only had it about a week or so. I have the USB cable and the latest MPT and have been able to send pics to my phone and I know this next part is going to come as a shock but I have been able to ul mp3's to my phone but I can't hear them. I am using a 10 sec. clip at 46 kbps bitrate so I know that the clip isn't the problem. I noticed some people mentioning the drivers could need updating and that they were contained in the MPT. What I need to know is how do I ul the driver to my phone? I need to know where to find the driver and how to ul it to the phone. Or is there something else I need to do? I know this has been covered but I can't make much sense of the postings. Any help appreciated. Also email me from my profile.

Gatorade96 - I had the same issue - try turning off your phone then turning it back on.
a little trick...ok, it's due to a 'Fault' on their site....but it's worked for over a year
goto www.phunkyphones.net. and press the little triangle to listen to track...this on my PC gives me an option to save... also the pics can be dragged into a folder on your desktop.... oops<<<,what a bigmouth
