i just got my motorola v220 last night adn today spent the whole day searching for ways to convert mp3 files to ringtones because one of my friends said it could be done...this is all new to me.....i was wondering if someone could tell me exactly what to do and how to do it and if possible to send me the programs necessary....i would highly appreciate any assistance that can be given to me from anyone..and if my email would be of assistance it is --edited-- ....... please assist me with this....Thank you
If it may not work I guess instead of using P2ktool im going to try out MPT sometime...I'll let ya know if this solves much...

Find Audacity and Lame.
Frist rip your cd to mp3 ( 128kb ) then use Audacity to clip, cut chopp.. all that good stuff have it at 24 fix or 32 floating bitrate,then do save selection as mp3 and in folder of your choice then use MPT multimedia center and just drag and drop them in your fone

hi im so sorry + i know its bin explained 100 times over but im so computer illiterate! lol! i have a motorola v220 + i wanna b able 2 put pics on + get pics off + ringtones as well, i have the mobile phone tools program but dunno how 2 do the rest could sum1 plz plz plz send me the drivers needed + i'll fiddle around with it till i get it workin, thx u any1 hu can help my e-mail is - -editted-@hotmail.com - thxs alot will love you forever! lol

I tired your site and the main page says that they were removed from their host's site servers because someone was loading or hosting illegal software.
Bottom line is we can't get to your offerings.
i have the problem listed on 15,, it's a BRAND new phone, i just got it this afternoon, and i have put mp3's on it, 20 seconds, 32 bit, (i try'd it at 96 also) and mono channel.. it will play fine,, but it WONT set them as a ring tone.. help?
Same Problem as everyone else, If your using any P2k program it will fail in assisting your ringtone needs unless its downloading a locked one you bought on the WAP, Use MPT guys it will aide you flawlessly!
