I too am in a sticky situation... I was having problems with my cell phone (v400) and had to get a new one sent to me. In order to not be charged for processing fees ($200) I have to return the phone within 14 days of them sending the new phone. It is now about 10 days after them sending the new phone so I really need to get this information backed up.
I have about 30 meaningful pictures (Family, friends, etc..), about $20 in purchased ringtones, and the same in games.
I was able to acquire a Motorola USB Data Cable from a local AT&T store, but I am now low on money and greatly in need of the software to make the data cable serve its purpose.
If anyone could email me link to the original Motorola PhoneTools v1.23c so that I can use the upgrade version I have, it would be most appreciated. I only have a few days to get this phone in the mail, and losing this pictures isn't really an emotional option for me.

Hi!
A last 3 days I spent try to find out how can I donwload pictures from my phone to PC. I got a USB cable MPT and PST 7.11 what is keep telling me is not supported on Win. Me O/S. ((( Is it possible to get work it on Win. Me? Or what else can I use to donwload pictures?!

You can use MMS to send your pictures to any email address. Cingular charge per use .25 or you may sign up with a plan.

i keep gettin a message that says "you are not authorized to download from this server" when i try to dl something from motclub. i did find a site http://www.vstuff.co.uk/index.php that for $7 you can donwload the lates version of motorola mobile phone tools version 3.07 and i have been using that to dl mp3s to my phone so far.

does anyone know how to delete the images and sounds already in the v220 phone? i just got one and am new to this forum, so i just thought id ask

Yes make a new image or sound and name them exactly the same with the image or sound that already came with you fone then uploade them in it will replace the old image or sound and now fone will give you the option to delete Note. Back up..Back up and back up verything and everytime you are going to change something like that because some of the image and sound are associated wiht your fone software for say if you delete that flower girl pic there won't be any vibrate function in your fone. Hope this info help
