I have an LG L1400 and Internet Express service, but can't seem to send photos to anyone else's phone or to any email. It tries to send twice, but just sits in the outbox, not going anywhere.

My Features on my accounts shows I have

WRLSS INTRNT XPRS PAY PER USE $0.00
INTERNET XPRESS 500K $2.99

which from what I can tell, should allow me to do multimedia messaging...?

thanks for any help,

DA

I got a phone that was previously on T-Mobile but unlocked. Therefore, it has T-Mobile software on it and is trying to access the web with T-Zones. They apparently have disabled the menu options to modify the web connection setup and I have no way of connecting.

Will a Cingular technician install Cingular software on my phone, or will they not do it since it is unlocked and I didn't get it from them?

No..a tech won't install the software needed, because you can do it yourself by visiting www.nokiausa.com. It should be under re-send digital content. It'll send the wap browser to you in the form of a text message. Then, all you have to do is accept the settings as your default.

It's so nice to have someone here that works for Cingular offering their "expertise"!

I actually have two questions.

The first is-How will the new merger affect our coverage in the hopefully near future? I live in NC and travel to the mountains a lot and the coverage is usually bad in areas. I have been with Cingular (Through North State Wireless) for about 4 yrs and really don't want to switch carriers but I may be forced to because of the poor mtn and spotty rural coverage. I know that Verizon has good coverage in these areas, but I would rather stay with Cingular. (BTW-I have the Cingular Nation plan with no roaming, etc. and the Motorola v600 phone)

Second ?-When you say that unused rollover minutes expire after 12 months, does that mean ALL rollover minutes accrued in the past year or does it mean that, for example, the rollovers that I had in Nov 2003 will expire Nov 2004, etc. I hope this makes sense

Thanks for any help that you may have.

The Samsung e317 is a wonderful phone. It has about 40 places where you can put ringtones.

do you know if we currently call an at&t customer, will this count as a free M2M call?

check out this website: www.thenewcingular.com, but it will tell you that they will make a decision on this on November 10 or 11th, i don't remember which.

I don't work with CIngular, but I can answer both questions. I am looking to get out of my T-Mobile contract, and I have been comparing plans and phones and all, and i think I'm going with Cingular.
First of all, you might want to compare the at&t wireless and cingular maps and see if it is a wise choice. Also, if you have a nation plan, you shouldn't be charged for roaming, especially if your phone reads "CINGULAR EXTEND". My advice--keep with Cingular until the merger completely takes place in about three months or so, then see what your coverage is like. Also, it might help if you have one of the new GSM phones, which the Motorola v600 phone should work fine with the conversion.

About the rollover minutes--All of your minutes won't expire, just the ones that you haven't used from a year ago from that month. For example, if you still haven't used the november, 2003 minutes this past month, THOSE minutes will expire, not the ones from December, 2003 and on to 2004.

I just got the Samsung X427M and can not find the option to show the names and phone numbers on incoming calls. Right now all it shows is the phone number. Thanks

U need to enable mms pay per use or get an mms package to be able to send multimedia messages.

Internet Xpress 500k feature just allows you to go online through your phone.
