I just got the Samsung X427M and can not find the option to show the names and phone numbers on incoming calls. Right now all it shows is the phone number. Thanks
When you store the names are you storing them along with the area code input before the # ? because the caller id will list your calls if you store the numbers with the area code included.
unless you are refering to having the names/numbers show up from all callers whether stored in ur fone book or not( example- Land Line caller id )? There is no option for it to show those

Hi. I recently bought a Cingular V600 from my friend. I use T-mobile, but the service still works. I was wondering if there was any way for me to get AIM onto my phone. I know that Cingular has it online but only for their customers. Is there any way that I could get the site so that i could download it. Or, is it possible to unlock the V600 to have AIM. Thanks

I have a cell phone Motorola V400 and it works through Cingular. I also have laptop computers with USB connections using Widows 98SE operating system. My Internet Service Provider is highstream.net
I am looking for a USB cable and pertinent software to enable me to connect (Dial-up) through our cell phone as a phone line in order to access
· The Internet
· Our e-mail
We do not want to use Internet access through Cingular since we already have an ISP.
We have used successfully FutureDial’s SnapDialer in the past with SprintPCS and Samsung SPH-A460 that we no longer have.
Please help me. Thanks,
Bibi

This article refers to all Cingular world phones already being unlocked. I need to take my Nokia 6200 to England, and wanted to buy the pay-as-you-go SIMs and get a local number. Is there any validity to this?

Hi (you kind hearted people who work at Cingular),
I was curious about what is Cingular's phone unlocking policy. I have a Sony Ericsson T306, and am in the SW Ohio region. I know that my phone is locked because my friend's T-Mobile SIM doesn't work in my phone. I called up Cingular customer service, and the lady seemed lost when I asked her about unlocking phones. She had absolutely no idea what I was rambling about. Well, does anyone know where to call up Cingular and get the unlocking codes?
On a side note... I have wanted to use my cellphone as a regular modem, and wanted to enable CSD (Circuit Switched Data). Where/who do I call to do this? Thanks for any and all the help u can provide
