I upgraded two phones from Cingular yesterday (Samsung x427m and LG C1300). The agent installed sim cards in the wrong phones. If I swapped sim cards will either/both phones still work, or will I have to go back to the Cingular store?
You can do it yourself. Since both phones are on your account, you can use the sims in which ever phone you choose.

I am new to this forum and have a question about Cingular CT. coverage. I live in New Milford and wonder if the coverage is as good as one of my friends claim and if it stays in digital and does not analog roam...Thanks

Hi, I have a nokia 6340i phone and Cingular service, and I am interested in changing my phone, So I will have to look for a phone that is sim and cingular compatable, say on ebay , for example, and if I put my sim card in it does that turn the new phone into my number or do I have to contact cingular to have them switch phones in their system , and does that new phone transmit to cingular info about the phone or just info from my sim card , I am a novice when it comes to this so please bear with me, and thanks in advance for any help you can give me ,Bill

are you sure your phones are locked in the first place? considering that the v3 razr is a quad band world phone from moto, it may be unlocked already - the newer moto quad band phones offered by cingular are unlocked as far as i know. have you tried sticking in another carrier's sim card such as t-mobile into your v3?
