I have e700 and I hate that T9.... every time i'm going to write message it's there... so is there any way to turn it off...

Maybe some firmware modding?

Thanks!

think that has to do with the software/firmware/whatever it's called. cuz when i had a different one installed (at the dealers) T9 was turned off. i actually want it to be on.

anyone else has a solution for this little thing??

flash new firmware which allows you to set t9 or abc on default. But... i dont know where to find patches like that. google around and see. but if u have t9 mode and always use abc, when u open a new msg just press the right soft key and then the left. it will change to abc. hope this helps

Thanks for that tip (right soft key and then the left).... but it would be much better if I could find firmware with that option to set default mode....

Thanks icon_wink.gif

Personally I cant believe they didnt make this something that can easily be changed in the menu.
Then again as far as Im concerned they havnt done alot of things they should have for alot of phones.

It really is hard to find good help nowadays....
