Hi! I'm a not-so-happy owner of a Samsung E700 cell phone. Not so happy because, as I can read in many other owner's opinions, I feel like Samsung left many things out of box. Simple function like custom sounds to identify callers, that exist many generations ago, simply don't exist.
Also reading the forums I became an enthusiast of firmware. And, as a systems developer I can't totally put down the idea of developing a firmware. But I can't easy find material about it. So, I leave here a start, but there's people out there with the same idea, or a least, a great will.
Am I dreaming?  Is this totally impossible?  Os not?  Opinions, please. And count on me on, at least, discussign them.

make a search OPTIMAY bacause this is the company that develop firmwares for the samsung
you can connvert sre to bin with mot2bin
have fun but i think is something impossible

I feel very let down by samsung, although samsung phones are of good quality, i think they do leave a lot out, either out of lazyness or just to help promote newer phones they make with other features, few samsung phones have bluetooth, which sucks, this not being able to upload games to most of their phones without using wap sucks! the lack of things such as custom call pics and profiles sucks! i think samsung should sort it out!

i have a p735 and there are so amny things this can do but are locked...like i unlocked the ability for it to supporrt umts when it comes out here next year
i ahve unlocked almsot every thing on this phone possible accept i cant seem to figure out how to enable the ability to use an html browser on it.. i cant find the code and samsung is a bitch and wont let up any codes.. i wish i lived in cali.. by law theyy have to give you anycode you ask for
