Does anyone know what data cable I need for the Samsung E715 with E710 software ?? All I want to do is use EasyGprs and maybe the flash software ?? (093LBC ??)

Im stuck with the E710 vodafoe firmware is there any way to change the red or remover the icon for vodafone live from the idle screen ??

I cant flash my phone as im on the 1800 frequency and E715 firmware wont work with that frequency icon_sad.gif !!

Ideas ???

as you live in london you have to use E710 firmwares ,E710XXDF4 is the best firmware for the E71x.

E715 does not have vidoe icon_devil.gif so we are fortunate icon_rolleyes.gif

I got that cable from ebay and it arrived today but I cant get it to work with easy gprs it says its offline and cant connect to that port ??

If I download the flas you mentioned will it just remove the Vodafone Live Icon or will it flash and change my phone (i.e to the e715)

Ideas ??

Just flash your phone. It can't be worser than the vodafone firmware unless you like the red.

If you have a laptop/desktop with infra red port, you do not even need a cable! Just go to Phone Settings & select Option 1 which is Infra Red activation. Then hold the camera phone's infra red port facing the computer's! Then start the GPRS & it works great!

Do you mean E710XXDF5 or E710XXDE5? If you mean E710XXDF5 its newer than E710XXDF4 but if you mean E710XXDE5 its older than E710XXDF4. If there is a E710XXDF5 could you share the link with us.
