hello all nokia addicts!! need your help here.... is there any way that i can disable the messages sent NOT to be stored on the sent items folder? we have this option on the MMS settings but not on the SMS. any work around for this to happen?

Nope..you cant. All SMSs are saved in the Sent folder. There's no way around this at present.
A shame really. I too wished that you could disable saving of sent SMSs.

Sometimes I sit there and think "Did you really send it? What did you sent?"
That's true... and I can look up discussions I had via SMS
I love it and it doesn't really wastes memory ^^

True it has it's advantages, but it should still be there as an option, like MMS.
Not everyone wants other peoples pying eyes to read what they have sent.

I dont mind saving messages into Sent items. I use it, when i want to know, how many messager I have already sent in current month - quite useful for me.
I've got another problem: When I write a message and send it, the message stands in the text editor. Why?? - Why do I have to have the message twice - Once in Outbox and once in editor - qoite messy - I dont like this very much. I would prefer if it could be disabled.

isnt it:
Menu > messages > message settings > text messages > overwriting in sent items ?

thanks, but you have advised me something else. I ment to disable messages in editor when i sent a message - that remain in the editor - and it cannot be disabled.

btw: I had 30 messages now in my send and my received folder... I've deleted them and compared the memory before and after... it was the same
