I wish I found this site a lot sooner than making these mistakes. Anyways, I just recently bought a nokia 6225 (two for 49.9 deal from sprint pcs. The phone works, and from an advice of a buddy, i got a dku-5 cable for the phone. The first time i followed the procedure and it works absolutely fine, a few problems, but it ran and i up my ring tones and everything okay.
Now, after I had major screw up with the computer, I restore and redid the computer. I reinstall as the procedure told me to do so; however, this time.... the PC Suite doesn't work. I figure i try a driver from the nokia site and update my pc suite to 6.2c (latest version) Still doesn't work.
Whenever I plug the usb-serial to the phone, the phone has the "ready for data" and "data connection ended" but on the PC Suite connection manager, the phone is "grayed" out. So I couldn't select it to upload basically anything. I know there are people out there that has problem with this cable, but I'm quite positive that it'll work with my phone, please help me fix this and get it working, thanks.

No one willing to help me fix this?
BTW i bought a infrared, and it still doesn't work. Just keeps coming on as "computer nearby" and "wireless connectivity was interupted" and i can't use PC suite or oxygen to send anythign to the phone...

i have the problem, and search all web, include other langguage. then found all country just have one word for N6225 "Sucks!"  It will never work with PC. not until you change your phone with other product like motorola v60c .

Hey que tiene las otras lengas?
The problem as i said in other posts is the program you are using, dont use PC suite use Oxygen II.
