If you get the cable called PCB133LBE it will work. Others wont work except for the [Model] usb serial wanna be cables.

hi, i read all possible posts on all forums and tried everything but still can't connect.
here's my situation:
windows 2000,
serial data cable(PCB093LBE),
samsung e700,
latest easy studio.

can anybody let me know if the phone software has anything to do with it?
well the problems start with the modem installation - windows cannot detect the samsung gprs modem at all. i finally installed it as a connection between two computers and still nothing. do i need to install additional drivers after that and where from?
i think the cable is working because my phone makes a sound everytime i run the easy studio like its connecting but remains offline.
also the cable has a hub on it with a little swich between d/l or data. what is the correct setting if it makes a difference?

thanx for your help

bulgar this is excatly the same problem i have.
i am here to find it out too.

if u found the answer please help me too.

one thing i have found that x100,e700 requires PCB133LBE datacable and not pcb093ble cable.

if u r succesfull in working e700 with pcb093ble cable please tell me too.
i am having this pcb093ble cable too.

- Turn on your phone
- Start EasyStudio
- Check if the cable is in the correct COM Port.
- Connect your phone to the cable [PCB133LBE]
- If it still doesn't works try it on another computer.

So what you are saying is that it has to be the original Samsung PCB133LBEC cable. I just bought a oem cable. I does say e700 on it, but it isn't a samsung product.

When i plug it into my computer and phone my phone starts charging. Every time i start up easystudio it says off-line. Is there no way to get it to work with this cable? It is made for this specific purpose, but I don't get it.

Any help would be appreciated. icon_biggrin.gif

You have the wrong cable cause it makes the phone act like its charing I had that same thing using the PCB093LBE (Which is the Wrong Cable) with my E700.
