Hi all,
I formatted my nokia 3650 and now all i can do is make or receive calls, none of the apps work I cant get to the menu either..tried to open the task manager but cant get to that too  .... i took my phone to my service provider(T-Mobile) but my phone is out of warranty (by 20 days) 
sending it to a nokia service station which happens to be in Florida for our region and pay >50 USD is a waste......
please advice..... what can i do to fix this problem..... coz if i cant fix it im gonna get rid of it

A soft or hard reset/formatting?
If soft, maybe the hard one will help (see Q&A post)
And it's normal that things broke when the warranty has ended

i did the hard formatting to but just when the phone started up i got "app.closed maillnit" and nothing else changed it still dose not let me get to the menu

Have u tried booting in Safe mode??
Have u tried booting w/o the mmc??
Try this and see what happens.

I booted the phone in safe mode and it works fine  ... i think the the problem is with the mmc. Is there any way to fix it ??

hey was out of town..so could not reply but how do i format the mmc when my phone doz not letme get to the menu with the MMC in it? Is thefre any other way to fix it from my com??

you can format your MMC Card with a MMC card reader/writer.....same thing happened to me.( cud not open the menu....MMC card was "corrupted")....i didnt have a reader/writer ...i used my pocket pc MMC slot to format it..

i have the same problem, what is booting in safe mode? how do i do this? thanks!
