Hey guys! I'm so glad I found your message board! I just bought a V300 and data transfer cable, but it didnt come with the MPT cd. I was hoping that some good hearted fella wouldn't mind emailing it to me? Or data transferring it to me through say aim (live4snuggles) or msn (live4snuggles: hotmail)? My email is gmail, username 4Amber - so if any of ya'all have a copy of this and could send it, I would REALLY be grateful if ya could send it! I read all the posts on here and couldn't find any links as mentioned to download this program. Thanks so much ahead of time! Happy Holidays! -Amber

I am about to buy a usb cable(CMOTV60XDAT1) for my v400 but wanted to know what software I need? I guess the drivers and whatever I need to transfer mp3 or polytones from my pc to phone. I searched and saw that mpt was needed but is there an opensource or another program other than moto's version? Sorry for the newbie question

The files that you can use are pst phone programmer and p2kman. Search google for them.

Duceduc I see that someone was able to obtain drivers for his motorola phone from you. I too am having the same dilema with mine. I have the cable but not the drivers. Can you help please?

I also recieved a data cable and have a V400 but unlike everyone else I am extremely lost as to how to get it to work or which software I need.
You seem like someone who knows all this stuff. Any helpful information??

what are you planning to do with your phone?
transfer ringers/wallpapers:
get mobile phone tools, or pk2man
transfer games:
need midway2,8, pst software to enable java app loader in phone
Look in the motorola tutorial section for more how to's....

I got P2k and mobile tools from the previous site you listed.. but it says my phone isnot connected when it is??

Are you getting the error when you are trying to connect p2kman?????? You will need pst to have p2kman working.
