HI
I bought the Data cable online but it didn't have the driver so I found it and downloaded it but it won't work.....win's detects the phone but can not install the driver i try doing it manually but still won't match the driver and the phone together. It's on WIN XP.....Please help me....does anyone have the driver maybe I got the wrong one.......or is there any software I can get the software from anyone.......?????

THe Data Cable is MV6-DC(S) HOTSYNC CABLE or CMOTV60XDAT1
THE driver is for this cable I searched it on google and that's what came up. But some of them say something about using my phone for dialup to the internet which I dont' want to do. I just want to be able to connect it so I can download pics from it and upload ringtones and etc.....
My Phone is the Motorola V400 for Cingular

I was wondering is the driver for the cable or for the phone?
Does anyone know?
B/C WIN XP detects new harware and says Motrola V400 but then can't find the driver for it.
What is the next step to do?

WOW ! all i have to say is that the user who is sending you the drives is a good person! - can u send me the drives also?? HAH jkin anyways i hope you guys thank this person for sending the info!

Will one of the lucky recipients of this driver download, pleaze send it to me??? I have a v400 also, and i'm sure mr. DeuceDuc is tired of emailing it to the world. So...have a heart and do a poor fella a favor.  Perty please.
oh and i would like to thank mr. Deuceduc for all of us needy people, if someone hasn't done so already.

Update: 10/12/04
Requesting phone driver
For who requested driver to be sent to gmail account, I am receiving a failure delivery notice. It says email not valid. If you still haven't receive the driver and you have a different email address, please forward request again. I am not sure why it is not going through.
Note: Request phone driver only if you are having trouble directing Windows to look in the mpt folder under program files. The driver should be located there.

Yes once your modem have been detected youcan do all that things. What you need are here in this first 3 pages read them carefully you will know how to do and get all the softwares you need for$$$.....free!! 
You need PST 6.7 to open up the fuction call java uploader in you fone that you never know it exit!!.
Midway 2.8 to transfer the games (they are in jad format) into you fone
Jadmaker or JadGen cause some of the games in jar format so this help make it JAD format.
MPT 2.21 sync, transfer pics mp3.. to your fone.
AUDACITY or MP3 cutter to edit you mp3 clip down to 25 second ( that just about the time that you fone will kick in to VM. Here is the link that was created by a member

Really???
Have you check out that link just right before you post this???. Cause if stuff you need and it is not there then you have to be speciffic of what software are you looking for and the usb driver you need is in that link !!! and in there also great instuction of how to. So please look again!!!
