Newbie here.
I wanna know if my 3660 is compatible with other MMC card , other than the nokia brand, because those are 2 expensive. If so what Mem cards can I buy ranging from $20-$40 a 64mb/128mb??
My firmware is V4.57, does it mean I can use SD ??

SD-Cards are generally not supported by Nokia, only MMCs.
You could normally use cards up to 512 of nearly every brand.

There is a compatibility list for the 6230, it should apply for the 3660 too.

So it's okay to use those that are on the list ,even Scan Disk ??
Any problems ever occure to those that are on the list?
I know Nokia wants to make more money with their own version of MMC cards , but they don't sell any here.

They should.
But I guess you can ask you retailer if you can try the card to check if it works with your phone. If he won't let you, say you choose another retailer this normally makes a retailer be very nice to you normally

No I never have done such stuff. Here the retailers where I buy are nice from the beginning.
But it's quite logical that the retailer will be nicer because if you leave, you money also leaves
