I'm looking to buy a Samsung E600. However, I'm not sure if it's simlocked, and if the menues have been altered by Dutch KPN (in the same ugly way as Vodafone did with the E710).
Following questions:
- Is the E600 part of the Samsung Agere platform (and if so, do the Agere Service Tools work)?
- Does someone know if KPN (Hi) makes any changes to the menues of the phone (and do they brand the casing of the phones)?
- Is there firmware available for the E600 and can this be updated with the same tools as the E710)?

Hi again
Seems that Agere tools 3.08 doesn't work on E600 ?!
(Can't connect to phone).
The firmware is E600ASDG2 and the cable I use is the original Samsung serial cable I bought for my E710.
Any idea?

agere tool is an old tool it will not work with e600 u need win imei for e600

- Remove your sim;
- Connect the cable PCB093LBE switched to D/L mode with your phone
- Turn your phone on
- And try to put it in TAT (Test mode)
- Once its in TAT you can do what you want.
