Dear All,
I have bought a new X600 and also purchased a brand new packed PCB133LBC cabel alongwith EasyStudio software CD.
I connected this data cabel with my PC via Serial Port. Phone was connected on COM1 successfully.
I installed EasyStudio software and connected with phone. My phone connects with EasyStudio and I can send/receive messages and do other Call, SMS, Organizer and Phonebook work easily. Up to this point everything is fine.
Then I installed PCLink for GSM 1.2 version to download taken pictures from phone. But this software does not recognize phone although on same cabel and on same port EasyStudio connects and works properly.
On other hand I also installed Easy GPRS and Easy GPRS 2.18 but wizard of this software does not recognize Phone Modem. Although Samsung GPRS Modem is installed in Modem area of Control Panel.
I don't know why this cabel is working properly with EasyStudio and does not work with PCLink for GSM 1.2 and Easy GPRS.
Please can anybody let me know what is the issue and how I can get this problem solved. If EasyStudio is connecting with phone it means that cabel is working properly.

Don't use Easy GPRS. It's for Gumi phones. Try the PCB133LBE cable and use EasyStudio PIMS&FILE manager. In this prog click the FILE EXPLORER button and dowload photos from the phone to computer.

Is this may be a problem of USB cable instead of Serial (mouse) once. Because when I click on Download image then EasyStudio returns with error "You can't download image! Restard dialog". I forget this to mention in my previous post.
There is a port available in this cable to insert USB cable. I think I need to get a new cable with USB jack at both ends and connect one end to PCB133LBE cabel USB port and connect other end to PC USB port. May be this is the solution and EasyGPRS and PCLink GMS Ver 1.2 detect mobile via USB port connectivity instead of Serial Port connectivity.

Dont use Easy gprs or pc link it is not for ur phone use easy studio
you can download it from www.samsung.com

i have a SGH-X600 from sept as well as a data cable with a cd.the cd contains easy studio software and something for installing pl-2303.but after installing it and rebooting pc when i insert the usb to serial cable.......then pc detects a new hardware which is not installed................why this happens  ?i have tried the same thing with different pc with os win 2000 and win xp....if anyone of you have succeded upto this step pls help me......i am really diaappointed.if you have any driver then pls mention the link from where i can download .

You can use X100FileManager, its the best program for sgh who uses PCB133 cable

I also have an SGH-X600 and the same data cable pl-2303 and a cd which contains the driver of the cable. I installed the driver and launched the easy studio software but it didn't work. The mobile couldn't be detected by the soft. I still don't know why ? Is it the cable ? Is it the driver ? I tried the operation on winme and winxp.

hai,i have samsung x-600..
i have pims manager,usb data cable,all java loaders on my pc.no problem with ringtones..
how to get games into my phone.
trying to find wap sites for x600(jad format) but did not get.......wanted to flash firmware .mine is x60DDDD1,i dont know which firmware to flash..please help........
i have only usb cable ,no serial cable....
can i safely flash
or please let me get some good wap site to download games...
or please anyone build some wap site for games only for x600 and x100.i feel they r alike
please helpme........

yes its the same problem to me try download pims from samsungmobiles.com,but still i have the problem that i cant upload the java files to phone please me that also
