I am having problems getting my gprs settings set correctly so I can use the wap features and so I can retrieve ringtones and such that I have sent. My carier is Cingular Wireless. I have the gprs service and also have registered everything Tmywirelesswindow.com. I have called cingular numerous times and also have been to 2 different cingular locations and no one could get it right, I tried even restoring factory settings to see if that would help, NOTHING HAS WORKED!!! Can someone please help me. I think I just have some setting messed up.
What happens is I try to connect and it asks me to log in,I do, then when I try to go anywhere it asks for me to log in again and I do, then after that it says log in failed.
Please Please Please help. I have had a weekend full of headaches. I am so stoked on this phone and I want to see all that it has to offer.

Try this one
WAP Settings for GPRS Profile
Function Setting
--------------------------------------------------
Settings Name Cingular Wireless Internet Express
Home Page http://device:home or http://device.home
Session Mode Permanent
Connection Security On
APN wap.cingular (lower case)
PDP_Type IP
Gateway IP Address 66.209.11.61
Login Type Automatic
User Name WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM (All upper case)
Password CINGULAR1 (All upper case)
--------------------------------------------------
If you get asked for "phone" and your password:
phone = your mobile phone number
password = your password at mywirelesswindow.com
Found it in a sony-ericsson forum maybe you have to adapt some settings...

The setting don't come from Nokia, they come from the provider, in this case Cingular Wireless.
BTW: My Provider offers to send me my WAP-Setting via SMS much easier

Wow the same thing happened to me. I was on the phone with customer service for 5 and a half hours!!! I was going CRAZY. Make sure your MyWirelessWindow id is only numbers and is four digits long. I have the nokia 6800 and the username is WAP@CINGULARGPRS.COM The password is CINGULAR1 Make sure you use all caps. I have a keyboard onmy phone and all I can see when I type the password is ********* I found that when I am in all caps mode you have to make your font small before you type "1". Otherwise it will read that you entered "!". Let me know if you still have trouble.
