Ok hi everybody i'm a new member to this forum. I've searched the forum for unlocking my samsung e316. Someone has already asked how to unlock e316 on this thread and Roswell108 said look back on the first post, well i did and did not see anything about unlocking e316. So may i ask kindly for someone to teach me how to unlock my samsung e316. I tried using Cerebro 1.5(non-virus version) but it did not support my model. May anyone be kind enough to help me?
**Edit** I do have a data cable for my e316.

He was saying that you could try unlocking the phone by the code he posted at beginning of the thread, may not working on newer versions. If you are using Cerebros just pick a setting q100 will prob work with the e316, seems to not matter what setting you pick it does the same job There is no virus on the original version of the software, like Rosewell posted in the forum before the program is very strong and forcefully removes the lock from your phone therefore the computer might recognize it as a virus. I have not tested the "non virus" version and cant say whether it is as effect as the originial. Or you could try win imei.

Secondly will the WinIMEI method work if i don't live in the US??

There is more then one country listed in the Win IMEI program you should be able to figure out what is an appropriate selection for your location, Odds are that the code method will not work, did NOT work for me anyways, pretty much only works on phones with old firmware Versions. You can find out what Firmware version you have by pressing *#9998*1111#, Enable email on Profile and I will email you the older version of Cerebros if you like.

Hello.. im seeing an awful lot about unlocking x427's & other models, but how about the SGH-x105?? I just want 2 send this 2 my friend in the Philippines so she can use it there cuz she cant afford a phone there. Phil is expensive! It's just an old trade in phone I have. Same GSM, MHz system. D phone is locked to T-Mobile sevice in d U.S. IMEI:010218000292975. I'm not sure d Rev? Phone was new in June or July of 04. I see on a green circuit board below where u install the SIM card a marking that says: REV07. I also see just above & to d right of the IMEI# something that says: 03.08 So if im guessing right this phone is a version 07?? Or if not version 3.08?? I don't want to buy a cable just to unlock this & I'm hoping there is a code that will unlock it permanently. I saw the one dudes suggestions, but didnt dare to use his codes for the giant list of phone models he said it would work on cuz Mr. Roswell said he didn't kwow what he was talking about. Any ideas Samsung dude or Mr. Roswell? It would really make a young girl smile if i could send her a nice working phone!

Ah man going for the female influence? LOL thats low but smart.
Anyway in my quest to solve the ongoing problem of unlocking a cell phone enough to work overseas I found out another piece of info.
In order for a cell phone to be unlocked enough you have to network unlock it and service provider unlock it. I think the cerebros and the IMEI software only service provider unlock it.
So the question obviously is how do you network unlock a samsung x426 or p107. would those clips that I posted about in the previous page (page 19) do the trick?

Try:
The *#9998*3323# Method:
1. If you have changed your phone password, change your password back to the default 8 zeros (00000000).
2. Put a SIM card that is from a network other than the one your phone is locked to
3. When Incorrect SIM error comes up, type *#9998*3323#.
4. White screen will appear with an exit option. Press the right softkey.
5. From the menu that appears, select the Malloc Fail option. This will reboot the phone and the normal service screens will appear.
6. Type *0141# and then press the green call key. "Personalization" or "Personalized" will appear.
7. Turn off your phone and put the original SIM back in.
8. Turn on your phone. You will receive a prompt to enter a password.
9. Type 8 zeros (00000000)
10. Completed. You have now unlocked your phone.
may not be able to unlock that phone by code though, if not its going to be a data cable job

Yes an unlocking clip should completely disable the service providers lock on your phone!
