As strange as it may seem, I believe I managed to unlock my C100 just with codes. Now, maybe it wasn't locked at first but it's highly unlikely since all cellphones sold through carriers in france are locked afaik. Or maybe that's because the main board was replaced under warranty but that's highly unlikely too imo.
Anyway, I don't know exactly how I did but basically, I entered the *0111#(CALL) *0141#(CALL) codes and their counterparts which ended me with the phone displaying the infamous 'Phone locked, return for servicing' message.
Now, at this point, I severly freaked out. Hopefully, I just had to type in the reset code (*2767*CUST#) to get out of that situation (note that it resets everything in the phone that is not carrier related, ie contacts, settings, messages, media, etc.)
Now, my phone is unlocked, I tested it with a Orange and Bouygues simcard (don't have any Sfr one but I don't see why it would be different).
Also, if this can be of any help, this is my software details (as given by *#9998*8376263#):

Hello, I'm trying to unlock a samsung SGH-X105 that my ex-gf let me have because the display on my Nokia is broken. The problem I have is that when I insert my sim card into the SGH-X105 it doesn't come up with the error for 'Incorrect Sim Card'. It still displays 'Insert SIM Card' as if there is still no sim card inserted. Any help would be appreciated. If anyone can help me with this the SIM card is from a Nokia 3595, and I'm trying to use it in a:
Samsung SGH-X105
IMEI: 010218/00/339452/1
Rev 1.5 (X15UVWI1)
If it helps:
SIM Phase: 0
SIM Voltage: 3v
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

X427 to X427M..I received my OEM serial data cable (pcb093lbe) today and finally was able to change back my IMEI from all zero's to the original with Cerberos (finally got the spelling right). Didn't know if it really mattered changing it but feeling much better just if the phone cops are looking. USB cable worked fine for the flash but needed the serial D/L for the imei. |
When you get the serial cable, do you need a driver files to install the cable so that WinXP recognize it?
Cause I just checked on Ebay. Those cables that come wtih software are riduclously expensive which those without the CD-rom are in acceptable price.
