Mine was included with Easy GPRS, therefore I imagine that if you download pims and file manager from samsungs website then it should be included there also.

hey, all. it would appear that roswell's links are broken, and my intent is to flash a x426 to x427m rev 1.2. there are numerous references to the file, but they all point to the same broken link. could anyone send me the file so's i can optiflash my locked phone?

I apologize in advance if this has been discussed earlier but if it was then I am scheduling an eye exam soon. I am looking to unlock SGH-N105 that used to belong to voicestream and im looking to use it on the T-mobile network.
With all this info i am not sure which method i am suppose to use. I am not looking to lock this phone so any help before i mess around with it would be great help.
I read some where that S105 and N105 are similar but my gut feeling tells me its not. I am thinking this should be an easy job for all of you since this is ancient model but as long as i can make phone calls thats all i need.

hello can any1 tell why after inputting some unlocking codes my phone keeps saying 'Not Yet Personlised'...can any1 help or try n give me a reason why this is happening...my phone is a samsung D500 thanks

Hi As my first post I hope I'm doing this right.
As you can guess, I have a question/big problem with my attempt to flash and upgrade my phones firmware.
I have a D500 and used a Samsung data link cable (PCB093LBE) to connect my phone to my pc running xp and as a software I tried Samsung D500 D500E Tools.exe, Corona_Downloader_v32.exe, and Samsung D500 Downloader 3.2.exe. With the Corona Downloader and the Samsung Downloader, I couldn’t connect to the phone. It would just say, power on phone and do nothing. With the Samsung tools I managed to connect to the phone only to have the program tell me that there are errors. Errors such as, when entering TAT mode, I get an IMEI error (fail in reading IMEI setting pop up box), or I get a fail in receiving CREQ(0x49).
And now the worse part is I think I killed my phone! It does not turn on and I can’t get anything to work on it or with it. Can someone suggest any help besides telling me to though out my new phone.

You are using the wrong cable, PCB093LBE is not for D500. You need a flash cable for D500. Do a google search.
By the way, Samsung's PC link cable for D500 is PCB113BSEC/STD. However, I am not sure if it is good for flashing or unlocking.

Oh I see now.
I need the cable that you need to attach a 9v battery on it, right?
If I manage to find one of those in around my area (LA), will I be able to flash my phone back to life?

It is really hard to say as it depends on how bad the flash is corrupted. If the bootloader is still good, you should be able to reflash it. You may as well find shops that provide unlock service and see if they can fix it. They may have the right tool to repair the firmware.

Quick question.. I unlocked my AT&T X426 and now am using my Cingular sim. I can't access the internet. Can anyone help??
