Hi!
I have read all the instructions and have never tried unlocking a phone before. My daughters new phone got stolen from school, so the Cingular guy told me if I could unlock our old phone, that I could use it with my plan.
I was with AT&T and the merged with Cingular, so the old phone is an AT & T phone.
The version of the phone I am wanting to unlock is the 1.6. I dont have any data cable or even know what one looks like, where to go to get it, or where it goes on the phone.
If I try the code, can I put the SIM card that I is in my new cell phone with out damaging the SIM card?
Please help!!!! I dont have 150.00 to buy her a new phone. And dummy me, didn't take out the insurance.

Read the first post. There just may be a chance this message board has a sticky on it and I guaruntee it has something to do with that first post. It says that all that other trash doesn't work. If 3323 is a wrong entry, an unlocking program is the ONLY way to not mess up your phone. There is no alternate code that will safely unlock your phone unless you have one of the ORIGINAL Samsung phones (if they are anything like the Nokias) back when the manufacturers didn't expect codes to get public so easily. |
ive done the same The 3323 dosent work for mre and I have a SGH x427 . I tried a 533 adnm it works I pressed exit when the screen came up and then quickly pressed 7 ..a screen comes up saying select one:
1.Off
2.Green
3.Red
4.Blue
5.Green+Red
ETC.
I have no idea what this is. Can you help me?

Good job. Yet another reason this post was created. First, you forgot to mention a couple of details about the password. Second, the other codes are not guarunteed to work. Third, you don't need 3 sim cards to completely unlock. Thanks for trying, but if you don't plan to clean up... don't make the mess. I am tired of getting 5 different emails a day saying "I saw your posts and your (some random complimentary word, ie. amazing) site and was hoping you could help me. My phone says Locked: Return for servicing. What do I do?" because people post faulty unlocking codes. It's not the fault of the person using the code, either, it's the fault of people like me who know them not fully explaining what they do or how they are used. That is why this post is here. It is meant to help clean up the mess before it gets bigger. |

yep *2767*2878# then just wait your phone will reboot, if you have any pics or rings on there they will still be there and you wap setting will still be there, but your phonebook will be gone
