IMPORTANT: Unlocking and Phone Locked Return....

After unlocking with the right codes for the E710 (including last step 0000000) . which worked fine, suddenly the pincode won't work anymore. I unlocked the phone for my girlfriend to be used in Asia, but she gets a pin error.

How is that fixable ? Did it get reset to 1234 or something ? 0000 and her normal pincode doesnt work somehow.

After the reset with the new simkaart (grey screen) it worked fine, I guess after the power off later on because of boarding the plane that wrong pin message occured when turning it back on. (with the sim that already got accepted)

I have read through the thread to find a solution to unlock my Samsung E105 phone. My contract expired with T-Mobile but am still with them.

Few basic questions, (sorry if these are obvious or answered already)

1. Can't service provider (T-Mobile) itself do the unlocking of a phone which is out of the contract period?

2. I got a unlock code and instructions from T-Mobile upon request just now. Can i use them to unlock my phone and use it with other provider?

3. How do i find my phone (2 yr old) firmware version?

4. I have seen different solutions to unlock the phone in this thread. Does it only depend on firmware version? or i need to check something else?

4. Depending on the firmware, they have changed the methods or codes, so firmware is it, nothing else.

I just bought a e315 Unlock Kit from www.unlockitnow.com. Has anyone else bought a kit from this site? It hasn't arrived yet but does anyone know if it will work? It's a Serial cable. My phone is in the "Phone Locked: Return for Servicing" state. Thank you!

I have tried the new sim with the
1. Turn off your phone, put in a SIM of a provider that it is NOT LOCKED
(difference company's SIM card) to, and turn it back on.
2. At the wrong card message, type *#9998*3323#

method and my phone tells me (3323 wrong entry)

what else can I do to get my phone unlocked.

I called Samsung and they told me that they would flash the phone for me free of charge. For weeks I was looking for solutions to get my Samsung e315 out of the "Phone Locked: Return for Servicing" state.. and finally called Samsung. I don't have the phone on any service but Tmobile ToGo, so I find myself very lucky. I just want to tell you people out there sick of trying to find solutions to go ahead and make the call to Samsung. If you are lucky, things will be easy as this! I haven't gotten my phone back yet, because I just sent it in a couple of days ago. Also, the whole reason it was hard-locked was because I was an idiot and was reading over these forums. I went over the *0001*00000000# code without looking at the words around it, and BANG she was gone like that. So guys be careful, don't pull a move like I did.
