I tried to unlock my phone and got that message, I thought it was locked for good but i found a code that works (*#9998*533#) enter it and select 6 the phone will reboot and your chip should work

You realize that the *#9998*533# code is the LED activator code, right?

For X427, rev 1.5:
1. Disable; PIN check, Phone Lock, SIM Lock(for both SIM cards).
2. Password should be 00000000(8-zeros).
3. Put a SIM card that is from a network other than the one your
phone is locked to
4. When Incorrect SIM error comes up, type *#9998*533#.
5. White screen will appear with an exit option. Press the right softkey.
6. From the menu that appears, select the Malloc Fail option(#6). This
will reboot the phone and the normal service screens will appear.
7. Type *0141# and then press the green call key. "Personalization"
or "Personalized" will appear.
8. Turn off your phone and put the original SIM back in.
9. Turn on your phone. You will receive a prompt to enter a password.
10. Type 8 zeros (00000000)
11. Completed. You have now unlocked your phone.

For X486
1. Disable; PIN check, Phone Lock, SIM Lock(for both SIM cards).
2. Password should be 00000000(8-zeros).
3. Put a SIM card that is from a network other than the one your
phone is locked to
4. When Incorrect SIM error comes up, type *#9998*3323#.

Tmobile gave me the wrong unlock codes and as a result the phone now says: "Phone Locked Return For Servicing." What are my options now and can I still unlock the phone?
