That is very strange. I have found that once you unlock the phone, you don't usually lock it by using codes such as the #0000*11111111# or whatever. Either way, I will hav\e to test this out for myself. Thanks for the input, I just hope it works (Would really help for those who don't have a cable)

hi once again...
I have just updated the technique i originally posted on the forum as i have just repeated the process on my own phone and felt i had not been
fully accurate in terms of when to replace the battery.
Also i double check the charging situation when the battery is removed and it does show the small charging icon in the top right hand corner of the display as charging, so sorry for that.

Hi i havent found anything about my girlfriends SGH X600.

She got it as a gift and would like to use it, but its locked to another service than she uses, any help appriciated. icon_sad.gif

I have tried to use the method for unlocking my X426, but after I type in *#9998*3323# code, it says 3323 wrong code. I dont know what else to do. I've tried to alternate method of typing in #*7337#, and that did not work either. Does anyone know what is wrong?

As stated in the first post, the 3323 code is not for newer firmwares (shown by the wrong code message you are getting) you need to use an unlocking program or flash your phone with an unlocked firmware.

how do I flash my phone with unlocked firmware? Should i use the x426 Firmware V1.6 from your web site? Do I need a cable? Or is there an already posted message you can direct me to to read what to do so I am not making you repeat yourself? I am cell phone retarded. icon_sad.gif
