Hi, i really didnt read all 40 pages of your replies, but on first page of this topic the but the code for my e300 was *#9998*533# (or someone identified it as led indicator something )
Whell anyway, after inserting it your phone will boot and you will be asked
for PUK number... After writing it you will have to change your SIM pin
It unlocked my phone from "return for service# but it didnt unpersonalized it for other provider usage...
Thats all from me, gl

I've read and read but just want to make sure. Is a serial data cable the only cable that will work to unlock my Sam. x426?? I got a usb cable and I am using Cerebros but it doesn't seem to be working. Also once I do get it unlocked does anyone know if it will work in Russia. The phone is a USA AT&T wireless model. Also will the phone communicate at all using the USB cable?? I can't even get it to work with MPT.
Thanks
Joe

Hello. I kinda broke my cell phone, and are attempting to use my friends. only problem is that her little brother put a sim lock password on it and doesnt remember what it is (hence her not using the phone herself). I've called cingular (my service provider) and samsung, and cingular told me to contact samsun. I did this, and they want me to ship the phone to them. But i was wondering if any of you guys know of a way i could unlock it myself. when i put my sim card into it and turn it on, it says (and i quote:) "SIM Lock Enter Password?", and requires a password of a minimum of 4 numbers, and max of 8. PLEASE help!

inout an incorrect pin... you will see a change on the screen to "enter PUK"... (a failsafe mode) then call cingular
