Hey elmo01. Thanks for the reply about the SIM Lock password. I'm affraid I'm not quite getting what you mean about entering an incorrect password. The code can be 4-8 digits, so I decided (out of boredom)to enter 0000, then 0001, 0002, 0003, etc. I went all the way up to like 1150. lol. None of them were correct, obviously. But what do you mean aout entering an incorrect password? I've never seen anything about a PUK password. If you have AIM I could send you some pictures of the screen, Or we could do it through email. Thanks ALOT. Later.

my problem is i did the *#9998*3323#
hit malock fail (rebooted)
then when it restarted i did the *0141#

then put my old sim in (the normal 1 i use) then tried the 1 that did not go with my phone and it says wrong card....but if i repeat the steps then its good again till the phone restarts, then does the same (wrong card)

Does anyone have copy of the 426/427 files mentioned on the first pages of this forum they would share. The links no longer work on site where originally posted. Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

I have a Samsung V200, locked to Orange. I'm now moving to a Sony Ericsson K800i on O2. However, I have many SMS's in the V200 I don't want to lose.

The only way I can figure out to salvage them, is to save them to the PHONE memory, unlock the phone, and then put the new O2 SIM in and transfer them.

How can I unlock the Orange V200 without wiping the SMS's? Or does anyone have a better idea?

Mark.

Trying to unlock a x426. I've tried the method that starts with *#9998*3 etc. but am unable to enter 3 after the second *. I have a feeling I'm using the the asterik key vice the *. Also I have seen there are different methods depending on the version. I can't figure out how to determine the version. Help Please!
