hi my mum is giving me her phone she has a samsung x530 how do i unlock it? i cant use my sim in it. any help is appriciated

I have a Samsung i-830 (motorola). I have the lock number given to me by Sprint (the carrier and seller in the US). But I don't know how to begin the process. How do I get to the point where I can enter the "lock" number.
Funny thing is, in Honduras a SIM card would not work in the phone; but in Accra, Ghana the SIM card works. I believe if I can unlock the phone a SIM would work in any country. Thanks for any help you can provide. Jim

My two year old just pored his entire bottle of shampoo on to my razor phone (R.I.P. phone). Know I have a bunch of buddy's offering their old cell phones. Well I gave a cupola of them a try and switched the SIM cards and they all say to enter the code? Some of the phones are from the same provider, but a get the same roadblock. N E 1 has a clue on what to do from this point on. Please help.

for unlocking search on the net for a website called UnlockSamsungOnline
they have a special client which will allow you to unlock almost all samsung phones remotely by standard cable (even latest U100 U600, e900 etc)

My new CGH-C170 came from Europe and refuses to catch any signal from AT&T with their SIM in. In fact, it cannot locate any network. Yet, it worked fine with other European companies.
Does it need to be unlocked? Or what else?

Hey guys,
Can someone point me to the right direction on how to unlock this phone? Phone is locked to Rogers. Do these phones come with rev 1.5 or 1.6? Would Cerebros or WinIMEI work on this phone?

PERMANENT UNLOCK CODE SAMSUNG SGH T219-T329
Insert ANY unaccepted SIM card in the phone and then turn the phone on, follow the steps in 1 to 4 below to enter all the codes. The phone will switch itself off and then on at step 2 but do not switch off the phone by yourself until all steps are completed. Take your time to enter the code correctly at each step. When entering some of the zeros at steps 3 and 4 your phone may display the zero as hyphen or minus (-), dont worry, just count when entering the zero to ensure you enter just the right numbers of zeros. Now let's begin.
1/ Put any unaccepted SIM card in your SAMSUNG SGH T219 or T329, turn the phone on, it will display WRONG CARD
2/ Type *2767*3855# and wait for about 25 seconds for the phone to reboot all the way to the welcome screen
3/ While at the welcome screen, type *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
4/ After completion of step 3 above then type #7465625*638*00000000#
At the end of step 4 phone will show "network lock deactivated"

Do you know of any codes that would reset the password. I have changed the pin and disabled the sim lock but i still can't access the password screen. Which makes it impossible to look at text or call history.
Yet, it worked fine with other European companies.
