This worked great for me: How to unlock your SAMSUNG SGH-T319 cell phone to use with ANY SIM CARD for ANY service provider:

Make sure your phone is OFF; power on the phone;
When it reads "wrong sim card" or wrong card" dial the following:
*7465625*638*00000000*00000000#; after the phone shows a personalization message; you will then dial #7465625*638*00000000#; now your phone is unlocked permanently.

Thanks to users on this thread, I found this code to work for this phone model. It was hard and time consumming to search for a code that worked, but this was PERFECT! Thanks to all who contribute to these threads. You guys are the best!

GOOD LUCK! icon_biggrin.gif

@ miah, This sounds like hardware problem not software. Although it is possible that by using a code the eeprom got reset at a moment while something just got activated (like ear piece) and so some bytes got corrupted. But change is much higher that problem is hardware.

At all others. Codes often do NOT work on newer phones. For example the A707. I do not recommend codes at all but if you use them NEVER use reset codes. The codes to change the NCK (such as *#9998*3323# are a little more reliable)
